I am very happy to share the Dean’s vision for the College of Agriculture. The college which started in 1984, in its journey of 42 years, has successfully imparted agriculture knowledge to thousands of students and continued to do so in many more years to come. As the Dean of the college, my vision is to impart integrated knowledge on agriculture to Under Graduate students who will strive hard to make ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT. 

Students along with academic knowledge sholuld also excel in overall personality development, sports, literary and cultural fields. With the introduction of NEP (National Education Policy) and ICAR’s VIth Dean’s syllabus, agriculture course curriculum has taken to new heights involving novel teaching courses like Deeksharambha, MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses), MDC (Multi Disciplinary Courses) etc.,.Students are given with multiple entry and exit choices without breaking/inturrupting their study period. 

As a College Dean I am making sincere effort in creating teaching and learning infrastrucure in the form of smart clasooms, e-resources, practical exposure, extracurricular activites, Student READY programme such as RAWE (Rural Agriculture Work Experience), Earn while learn ie., ELP (Experiential Learning) and Study Tour. Handholding students in ICAR JRF and other competitive exam preparation, Agriprenuership and campus placement are essential for outgoing students.
